Rhinitis


The term rhinitis refers to inflammation of the lining layer of the nose. In fact the nasal mucosa is anatomically continuous with the paranasal sinuses mucosa. So each case of rhinitis is associated with the degree of sinusitis, as well as each case of sinusitis is associated with a variable degree of rhinitis. Hence the term (Rinosinusitis) is commonly used to describe inflammation of the nose and paranasal sinuses. To simplify the subject, however, we use the term when the main injury is in the nose is called as Rhinitis. Types of Rhinitis:
